Distinctive, upright conifer, reminiscent of the Tuscan countryside, perfect for creating a classy or Mediterranean feel to the garden. Very useful as garden screening and particularly effective when combined with box in a modern or formal garden.

GROWING GUIDE

Sowing Instructions:  Sow at any time of the year.  Sow in pots on the surface of a moist, good quality seed compost and seal in polythene bag. Place in the fridge or other cold place between 2-5C for 3 weeks.   [If sowing a large quantity, mix seeds with a small quantity of compost/vermiculite and place in a resealable bag in the fridge, then sow into pots/trays]  After this, move to a propagator or seal in a polythene bag and maintain an optimum temperature of 18-22C.  Germination can be slow and erratic but should occur after 30-90 days.  As the seedlings emerge, gradually increase ventilation by opening the bag or propagator vents. 

Growing Instructions:  Grow the seedlings on in cooler conditions with plenty of light, but shaded from direct sun, repotting as necessary. Young trees will need winter protection from severe frost for the first couple of winters until well established.  Likes a sunny position away from very cold, prevailing winds.

Due to phytosanitary regulations we are unable to send seeds outside the UK.  If a mail forwarding service in the UK is used to send your order abroad, please be aware that we will not take responsibility for orders confiscated by customs.

          
 

If an order is returned to us as undelivered by the postal service, we will refund the cost of the products purchased, not the delivery charge. When a service other than standard delivery is used, we will also deduct this from the refund (eg. signed for, special delivery or courier charges).  It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the delivery address on the order is correct.

All our seed packaging and most of our postal packaging is paper based and can be recycled.
