Distinctive British native biennial wildflower with a tall spike of brilliant blue, trumpet shaped flowers from June to September. A versatile plant that will grow more or less anywhere in sun or semi shade. Extremely attractive to all pollinating insects, very easy to grow and will self seed.

GROWING GUIDE
When to Sow: Sow spring or autumn outdoors in flowering position.
Sowing: Clear all weeds, scatter seeds on well raked soil, firm seeds into the soil and water with a fine spray. If sowing in rows, leave 20cm between rows. Germination varies with the time of year and conditions, but generally takes from 7-30 days.
Growing: Thin seedlings as necessary as they grow. To prolong flowering and prevent self seeding, remove the seedheads just as the petals start to fall. Otherwise, when flowering has finished in autumn, remove the dead plants, shake well to scatter the seed and rake the area lightly. New plants will grow in the spring.

Due to phytosanitary regulations we are unable to send seeds outside the UK. If a mail forwarding service in the UK is used to send your order abroad, please be aware that we will not take responsibility for orders confiscated by customs.
If an order is returned to us as undelivered by the postal service, we will refund the cost of the products purchased, not the delivery charge. When a service other than standard delivery is used, we will also deduct this from the refund (eg. signed for, special delivery or courier charges). It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the delivery address on the order is correct.

Packaging
All our seed packaging and most of our postal packaging is paper based and can be recycled.
